’All Bar Nun’, a play on words and an example of George Callaghan’s playful and quirky sense of humour. Almost identical nuns drinking identical pints of beer crowd the canvas. The flatness of the style used in this mixed media painting suggest that it is to be taken at face value.

George Callaghan’s background as a designer is evident in ‘All Bar Nun’ which shows his graphic style. ‘I think style is something that evolves from your own personality and life experience. It’s not something anyone can teach you.’
